Working Classified: Art 2 Support Sex Work Outreach Project

Myself and five other women in the sex industry have been immortalized for a good cause. Read the artist statement below, and visit his site to get your own...

When I began hearing about SESTA/FOSTA I didn’t understand the enormity of the problem it was going to create. Luckily I’m surrounded by amazing people who, through posting articles, experiences, and insights, helped illuminate me in ways I would have likely never found or discovered on my own.

It takes nothing more than a Google search of the term "Why is SESTA/FOSTA bad?" in order to find a wealth of information on why this seemingly well meaning bill has caused such immense damage to an already vulnerable community.

The Working Classified is a series of six colorful portraits of women who work in the sex industry as performers, educators, and advocates. Proceeds from this series benefit Sex Workers Outreach Project-USA.

SWOP is a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy. For more information about SWOP, visit their website at New.SWOPUSA.ORG.
